Caveman - clay sculpture about 20 inches high
Inspired by Neanderthal drawings by Frank Frazetta
Sculpted in 3 months (About 20 hours a week for a total of 250 hours)

Process -
I started off with creating the armature of the sculpture with wire
Referencing the loomis male to pose the armature in a neutral stance
Adding clay and taking measurements using a caliper to solidify underlying basic forms
Slowly Adding clay to block out basic forms like the pelvis and the chest
Basic blockout done
Blocking out the head and chiseling out secondary forms
Posing and solidifying shapes
Chiseling out some basic forms
Alcohol and turpenoid solvent application with a brush to blend and seal things off
